We have been experimenting with a new product since 2014. We call it toffee pop and it combines our delicious toffee product with popcorn. We tried it out on friends and customers last year and it got rave reviews, so it will soon be available on our website. Sounds simple enough, but getting a new product to market is an interesting challenge of experimenting with different popcorns, cooking with chopped almonds like we do with toffee, or with more coarsely chopped almonds or with whole almonds, and that's just to get a product we're happy with. Don and Linda are busy at work cooking and packaging toffee for your holiday wishes and needs.  Think now about out of town family and friends.  Some customers just keep extra toffee around the holidays for those last minute gifts and guests.

Our customers have asked for different nuts on our traditional almond toffee. So after lengthy testing, we are introducing a new dark chocolate sampler box, with almonds, macadamia nuts, and pecans. And it is yummy! Linders Fancy Toffee has maintained a single recipe until now, using only almonds in the recipe. We've tried other recipes, and we've tasted all the competition (a benefit of running a toffee business!), and we're heard from customers that they would like a broader selection of nuts. Linders Fancy Toffee was a big hit with the annual Chocolate Affair, a fund-raiser benefitting Soroptimists, hosted at the El Dorado Hills Fairgrounds in Placerville, CA on February 11, 2012. We met lots of new friends and kept them smiling with our fancy toffee. Thanks to all that visited us and signed up for the drawing for 2 boxes of toffee. The winners were Jennifer Bueghly from Placerville and Sarah Beerggren from Rescue, CA.

Linders Fancy Toffee was a big hit at the September 17 Wine & Roses event in Placerville, CA. The evening is sponsored by many local businesses to benefit the Marshall Medical Center Women's Auxiliary. It is a special evening with wine and food and a silent auction and of course, dessert. We added to the dessert offerrings although some people found that our toffee went very well with wine before dinner. We were happy to support this community benefit and spread some joy and good tastes at the same time.
